The Village provides a variety of training services geared toward building understanding influenced by cutting-edge, evidence-based, neurobiological insights. Our goal is to equip & empower learners with skills and knowledge to help you reach your unique goals.

IN-SERVICES

Do you have a limited budget and/or a short amount of time and want something "Ready-made" and still including modern-day, PRACTICAL science-informed approaches? In-services are a great way to meet these needs. Generally conducted during typical team meeting and/or lunch times, these "off the rack," (if you will), 45 -120 minute training sessions are easy to tweak for your specific team. Here is a list of the most popular requests.

Individual/Group/Team Goal: Improve motivation, relationship effectiveness (including people-management skills), understanding of diversity, equity & inclusion through a relational-based, non-shaming, neurobiological lens. “The Stories We Tell Ourselves” Understanding how “4-Dimensional” human processes affect our understanding of ourselves & others along with tips for improvement
Individual/Group/Team Goal: Reduce destructive, impulsive, or otherwise negative reactivity in interpersonal interactions. Define & identify anxiety, gossip, hostility, and the like. Avoidance of new projects or minor-moderate risk taking, or particular interactions or engagement out of fear or insecurity in objectively safe interpersonal connections, personal or professional. Reduce resistance to learning non-inclusive concepts and vocabulary. “Listening Under Pressure” &/Or “Self-Rgulation During Difficult Conversations” &/or “How to Have Difficult Conversations” Attendees will learn practical information about key features related to their neurobiological “Brain-body” connection to be better equipped with ideas on how to maintain calm as they interact with others during change or stress
Individual/Group/Team Goal: Improve decision-making, reduce feelings of isolation, fatigue, and/or burn-out “The 13-Millisecond Problem” &/Or “Threat Analysis” Learn the two “Paths to reactivity” in the brain, how to quickly assess the threat you’re facing, and methods to more effectively address it
Individual/Group/Team Goal: Reduce burn-out, struggles with motivation, morale, attrition, and/or high “call out” rates. Deal with management-frontline worker friction or a wish to begin to change corporate culture “Whole-Person Self-Care” Understood self-care afresh as “A way of being that cares for the whole self, including connections” as opposed to simply “Taking mini breaks from an overwhelming life.” This session provides a method of self-care planning that leads to lasting change and improved morale. Practice activities in-session recommended and done best over two sessions.
Individual/Group/Team Goal: Improve members and/or management ability to manage change, innovate &/or change, deal with motivation struggles. Reduce “In-fighting,” micromanaging, or other ineffective leadership-based interpersonal interactions. “Whole-Person Change Management” Define and identify individual and mindsets and how they contribute (or stagnate) in high-stress situations. Move from shame-based to person-insight-based change-management methods. This module highlights obstacles to staying in the growth mindset.
Individual/Group/Team Goal: Repair fractures, slights, and other non-abusive harms between friends, family, colleagues, and institutions. “The 5-C’s of Repair” Define concepts related to relational fracture and learn a more complete, whole-person, courage-building method of repair.

Explain and use techniques based on a non-pathologizing, social-justice, and whole-person approach that improves interactions and well-being at all levels
The Science of Gender & Resistance (2-6 hours) Learn the science related to gender, sex & sexuality along with the reasons people resist the LGBTQIA+ community and changes to the societal-relational paradigm brought by newfound/revolutionary authenticity
UN-Masking; A Non-Pathologizing Approach to Understanding & Addressing Neurodivergence in the Modern World The full program that teaches everything from defining and identifying the medical model and non-pathologizing approaches, pertinent therapeutic neuroscience, domain mapping, and approaches to mitigate effects of Neurodivergence in every echelon & setting of society
